Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Software Engineer to drive development of drivers, software, and firmware for our hardware products. You will design and test features for new and existing products, ensuring quality and security across platforms.

You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and other groups to deliver innovative software solutions. A BS/MS in CS/CE/EE with 5–8 years of experience and strong C/C++ skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, CE, or EE.
• Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (C/C++).
• 5–8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of software design and architecture, OOP, and programming for hardware/systems.

Responsibilities

• Unleash the value of systems and hardware through development of drivers, software, or firmware.
• Specify, design, implement, and test software features for new and existing products.
• Drive software development excellence and continuous improvement across software and hardware products.
• Collaborate with R&D hardware/software, systems R&D, manufacturing, and other groups.
