Job summary

GEO Resort & Hotel is seeking a professional driver to provide safe, punctual transport for hotel guests and management. The role includes VIP transfers for the Chairman and senior staff, with discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Based at Genting Highlands, you will cover routes to Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, KLIA and other locations, conduct vehicle inspections, keep logs, and ensure on-time arrivals while maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean and responsible driving record.
• 3+ years' experience as a driver (hotel/company/executive/VIP) preferred.
• Experience driving Chairman, Directors or senior management is an advantage.
• Familiar with Genting Highlands, KL, Klang Valley and KLIA routes.
• Strong passenger safety awareness and disciplined driving.
• Punctual, trustworthy, discreet and dependable.
• Well-groomed with professional attitude and hygiene.
• Able to communicate politely with management and guests; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual and professional transportation for hotel guests, management and staff as assigned.
• Occasionally transport the Chairman and senior management for meetings, appointments, airport transfers and engagements.
• Maintain professionalism, discretion and confidentiality on assignments.
• Handle hotel dispatch duties including collection/delivery of documents, parcels and operational items.
• Assist with purchasing collection, banking/document delivery and urgent errands when required.
• Travel between Genting Highlands, Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, KLIA and other locations.
• Plan routes to ensure passengers arrive safely and on time.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, safe and roadworthy at all times.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report servicing/repair needs.
• Maintain records of trips, mileage, fuel, tolls, and servicing.

Job description

Occasionally provide transportation for the Chairman and senior management, including pick-up and drop-off for meetings, appointments, airport transfers and official engagements. Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when handling Chairman and management assignments.

Occasionally provide transportation for the Chairman and senior management, including pick-up and drop-off for meetings, appointments, airport transfers and official engagements

Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when handling Chairman and management assignments

Handle hotel dispatch duties including collection and delivery of documents, parcels, supplies and operational items

Assist with purchasing collection, banking/document delivery and urgent operational errands when required

Travel between Genting Highlands, Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley, KLIA and other locations as assigned

Plan routes appropriately and ensure passengers arrive at their destinations safely and on time

Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, presentable, safe and roadworthy at all times

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report servicing, repair or safety requirements

Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, tolls, parking and vehicle servicing

About you

Valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean and responsible driving record

Preferably at least 3 years' experience as a hotel, company, executive or professional driver

Previous experience driving Chairman, Directors, senior management or VIP guests will be an advantage

Familiar with Genting Highlands, Kuala Lumpur, Klang Valley and KLIA routes

Good driving discipline with strong awareness of passenger safety

Punctual, trustworthy, discreet and dependable

Well-groomed with a professional attitude and good personal hygiene

Able to communicate politely and appropriately with management and guests

Able to maintain confidentiality regarding management movements, conversations and company matters

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
