Job summary

You will ensure drilling-fluid systems remain fit-for-purpose, review contractor proposals, and guide material choices to optimize performance and cost while safeguarding HSE and well integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15–20 years oil and gas experience with drilling-fluid engineering.
• Experience at senior engineer, specialist, or technical advisor level.
• Gulf of Thailand exposure and offshore field drilling experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and independent assurance for drilling-fluid quality, performance and cost.
• Review and monitor mud programs, performance, and contractor submissions to ensure fit-for-purpose systems.
• Drive cost optimization without compromising HSE, well integrity or mud quality.
