Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is seeking a senior mechanical designer to create and modify detailed drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and bulk handling equipment. You will ensure ASME VIII compliance and align with customer standards.

The role requires 5+ years of drafting/CAD experience, with 2–3 years of hands-on iLogic rule deployment using Autodesk Inventor, in a heavy industry setting. Senior position; strong portfolio preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting Technology, or a Diploma with a strong iLogic portfolio.
• Minimum 5 years of drafting/CAD experience in mechanical or industrial design, senior level.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience writing and deploying Autodesk Inventor iLogic rules.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and modify detailed technical drawings for pressure vessels, shells and tanks.
• Ensure drawings comply with ASME Section VIII and customer specs.
• Produce nozzle orientation drawings, tube layouts and welding symbols to fabrication-ready standard.
