FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Prai, Penang, is seeking a seasoned Material Operations/Inventory Management Director to lead the Materials organization across Asia and EMEA, driving inventory optimization and supply chain excellence.

You will partner with Operations, Procurement and Finance to support business growth and customer commitments, provide governance, and deliver hands‑on training to site materials teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 15+ years in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Proven leadership in a multi-site or regional environment.
• Strong knowledge of planning, procurement, inventory management and supplier management.
• Familiar with Material Planning system.

Responsibilities

• Be focal for inventory management for all sites in Asia and EMEA, manage monthly FOL process and ITO performance.
• Provide guidance for site materials management teams and reviews of monthly FOL commitments.
• Liaise with Operations, WW material Councils and Corp Finance to align on Inventory Management and ITO targets.
• Ensure new sites roll in well according to regional governance and provide training as needed.
• Manage and standardize control processes and support inventory-related KOI management.

Material Operations/Inventory Management Director - Prai, Penang

Lead the Materials organization across multiple Asia & EMEA sites, driving supply chain excellence, inventory optimization, support operation team to meet organization expectations. Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, to support business growth and customer commitments.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Operations/Inventory Management Director located in Perai,Penang.

Key responsibilities

Be Focal person for inventory management for all sites in Asia and EMEA, manage the monthly FOL process, inventory commit and ITO performance.

Provide guidance for site materials management team, manage the monthly FOL commit reviews, delivery KOI expectations according to company goal.

Liaison with Operation Team, WW material Councils together with Corp Finance team to ensure the full alignment on Inventory Management & ITO target.

Ensure new sites roll in well according to regional material operation governance process. Provide governance, support, and hands‑on training when necessary.

Manage, standardize the control process and support all inventory related KOI management (Invty, ITO, WCA, RM, FG, etc.)

Greenfield supports for all sites in Asia and EMEA

About you

Master's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

15+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing Operations.

Proven leadership experience in a multi‑site or regional environment.

Strong knowledge of planning, procurement, inventory management, and supplier management. Familiar with Material Planning system

Excellent stakeholder management, customer‑facing, and leadership skills.
