Job summary

Axonect is seeking an experienced Digital Forensics Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to perform forensic examinations on computers, storage devices, and networks for criminal, civil, and administrative investigations. You will identify evidentiary sources, collect and preserve digital evidence, and analyze data to draw conclusions.

Prepare detailed reports and present findings in court or proceedings. The role requires 4+ years in digital forensics, a degree in CS/IT, and strong networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with digital forensics tools and techniques.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document findings and present results to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct digital forensic examinations of computers, storage devices, and networks in support of investigations.
• Identify evidentiary data sources and collect/preserve digital evidence.
• Analyze data to identify relevant information and draw conclusions.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting methods, results, and conclusions.
• Present findings in court or other proceedings as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on advances in digital forensics technology and methodology.
• Maintain chain of custody for all evidence collected.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and policies governing digital evidence collection and analysis.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
