Job summary

Be International Marketing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Executive, Digital Commerce to drive development, enhancements, and support for the live ecommerce platform and PHP applications.

You will work with stakeholders to deliver features, integrations, and performance improvements while keeping the system secure and reliable. The role involves hands-on development with Magento 2.x, Java/Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and system integrations, ensuring scalable, secure, and optimized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in application development for ecommerce.
• Strong Java (J2SE/J2EE) with Spring Boot and REST microservices.
• Experience with Magento 2.x / Adobe Commerce is highly preferred.
• Familiar with RESTful/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of security practices including PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and provide production support for live ecommerce platform and PHP-based apps.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ecommerce enhancements including storefront features and checkout optimization.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ecommerce platform and backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues involving APIs, plugins, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain APIs/integration solutions (RESTful/SOAP) and technical documentation.
• Monitor and optimize performance, ensure security patches and platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital experiences.
