Job summary

Electrolux Home Appliances Sdn Bhd. is seeking a frontend engineer to lead the design system across Web and Mobile experiences. You will own frontend assets, contribute to multi-brand design tokens, and collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver scalable components.

You will apply strong React skills, advocate accessibility, and explore AI-assisted workflows to enhance developer productivity while maintaining high quality. Hybrid work in Malaysia is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as frontend engineer on a design system team delivering shared assets like components, tokens, patterns, guidelines, and docs.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams to implement designs and support consistent product experiences.
• Strong eye for detail, translating design intent into code visually and functionally.
• Knowledge of frontend engineering principles, component architecture, accessibility, and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the frontend part of the design system.
• Support other engineers and strengthen collaboration across teams.
• Create usable design system assets meeting accessibility standards and improve them regularly.
• Align the design system with company goals for efficiency, consistency, and scalability across brands.
• Participate in stakeholder conversations to ensure system scalability and strong relationships.
• Explore AI-assisted development workflows to improve quality, docs, and developer experience.
