Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking a frontend designer/engineer to join the Design System Team in a hybrid role. You will help build and maintain SHAPE across Web, Mobile and Appliances, delivering shared components and assets with accessibility in mind.

You will collaborate with designers and engineers, translate design intent into robust code, and contribute to scalable system guidelines while exploring AI-assisted workflows to enhance development efficiency.

Qualifications

• Frontend engineering experience on a design system team delivering shared assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement designs consistently.
• Translate design intent into code with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accessibility and code quality best practices.
• Experience with React and open-source/shared internal tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the frontend part of the design system.
• Support other engineers and strengthen collaboration across teams.
• Create usable design system assets adhering to accessibility standards.
• Align the design system with company goals for efficiency and scalability.
• Engage stakeholders, users, and contributors to ensure scalability.
