Job summary
Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd in Malaysia's Johor state is seeking an experienced Technical Design Engineer to review and coordinate construction drawings, BIM models and technical submissions.
The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering and 5–10 years of design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM. You will liaise with consultants and clients, support VE and constructability reviews, and provide technical support during project execution.
Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in construction or engineering design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and related design software.
- Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate construction drawings, BIM models and technical submissions.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes and authority requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, clients and project teams to resolve design issues.
- Support value engineering, constructability reviews and design optimization.
- Provide technical support during project execution and manage design revisions.
