Job summary

aramco seeks an experienced Delayed Coker/Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to join the Operation Engineering Solutions Department. The role provides in-depth process engineering and operations expertise to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvements for delayed coker and visbreaker units across refineries and petrochemical plants worldwide, with remote and on-site support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years in refinery/petrochemical, with at least 10 years in delayed coker/visbreaker.
Deep knowledge of delayed coker/visbreaker processes, equipment, and systems.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive performance reviews of delayed coker/visbreaker facilities and KPI analysis.
Develop quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
Provide on-site and remote technical advisory support; debottlenecking and upgrade activities.
Lead workshops on benchmarking and best practices among global facilities.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical teams.
Conduct audits to ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
