LTX Credence Sdn Bhd (A Cohu Company) in Malaysia is seeking a DCV Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain DCV software for semiconductor ATE. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, focusing on diagnostics, calibration, and verification, and work with C++ and Python to enable robust test automation.

The role emphasizes hardware-software integration, measurement challenges, and long-lived systems, with strong opportunities for ownership and technical depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of production-quality software development experience, preferably with diagnostics or hardware-oriented projects.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Solid Python experience for automation, data analysis, or tooling.
• Experience in Linux-based development environments.
• Experience interfacing software with hardware, instrumentation, or test systems.
• Familiarity with measurement principles, hardware test methodologies, and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Experience with semiconductor ATE or industrial automation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain DCV software for semiconductor ATE, including diagnostics, calibration, and verification.
• Develop and enhance software using C++ and Python to support DCV development, test automation, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and applications engineers across global teams.
• Participate in requirements discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and software release activities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving software, firmware, hardware, and measurement results.
• Analyze test data to support diagnostics, calibration, verification, and performance evaluation.
• Develop software and test solutions to improve reliability, diagnosability, and maintainability of ATE instruments.
• Support legacy software while contributing to new features and platform evolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tools, and CI practices.
