Job summary

Google's Data Center Engineering team seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead scalable HV/MV/LV electrical systems design for APAC data center projects, localizing internal standards and collaborating with Architects and Engineers to meet safety and reliability goals.

From site due diligence through construction and operations, you will manage the electrical scope, coordinate with utilities, and drive integration of new power technologies while upholding Google's high performance and sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive scalable electrical systems design (HV, MV, LV, renewables) from site due diligence through construction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to resolve program-level electrical issues and integrate new product developments.
• Ensure designs and installations meet safety, quality, and cost standards through engineering analyses and tests.
• Define system-level data center architecture and update internal design specifications with lessons learned.
• Develop operations and maintenance procedures while advocating best engineering execution practices for major infrastructure upgrades.
