Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy data-driven solutions using statistical analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning. The role transforms complex data into actionable insights to support business decision-making and performance.

You will collaborate with business units, prepare and analyze data from multiple sources, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong background in statistics and data analysis.
Experience in predictive modelling and machine learning.
Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform exploratory data analysis on large datasets to identify patterns and opportunities.
Design, validate and deploy predictive and machine learning models to solve business needs.
Support model deployment and monitoring to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into data-driven insights.
Prepare and analyze data from multiple sources to support modelling initiatives.
Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain model documentation and governance in line with standards.
Stay updated on new data science techniques and apply where appropriate.
Handle ad-hoc analytics projects as needed.
