Job summary

Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia) in Malaysia seeks a technical support professional to analyze non-motor portfolio and help improve profitability through data-driven recommendations. You will work on portfolio analysis, market research, and enhancement of underwriting processes.

The role involves collaborating with teams to design strategies, maintain rate tables, and support ad-hoc projects while ensuring alignment with company plans and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Preferably tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or Insurance related professional qualifications.
• Intermediate or Advanced working knowledge of Excel is an added advantage
• Good communications skills - written & oral

Responsibilities

• Portfolio analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Market scanning, competitor benchmarking, new segment analysis, product development / enhancement.
• Analyse and maintain system rate tables and underwriting controls.
• Support the design and execution of strategies to grow Non-motor portfolio profitably in line with company plans.
• Ad-hoc tasks including project support, quotation tool enhancement, UW database maintenance, reporting.
