Zusammenfassung

GRIT is hiring a Data Scientist to drive the development and integration of advanced ML and Generative AI solutions. You will work across data infrastructure and AI platforms, including Google Vertex AI, while developing RAG capabilities for AI Agents.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of models, build predictive systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven outcomes. A strong emphasis on MLOps and mentorship is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 5–6 years of experience in Data Science, ML or related field.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Statistics, CS, OR, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data mining and/or ML.
• Hands‑on experience with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business challenges into data‑driven solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, Hive, Impala, Pig or Scala.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP environments is advantageous.
• Experience writing production code is beneficial.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adapting to new challenges.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of ML models from data analysis to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Develop and deploy predictive models, primarily using Google Vertex AI.
• Manage integration, performance and governance of models across external AI platforms.
• Design and optimize RAG systems, including data retrieval and embedding models.
• Tune models and run experiments to improve performance and efficiency.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and build data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business, product, data engineering and ML teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Data Scientists.
• Promote best practices in MLOps, model versioning and documentation.
