Job summary

Avanade is seeking a Machine Learning Lead to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions in a structured enterprise environment in Malaysia. You will architect scalable systems using Azure ML, OpenAI APIs, and Generative AI technologies to deliver secure, compliant solutions.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to optimize models, deploy pipelines, and monitor performance across edge and server platforms.

Qualifications

• Min 8+ years of experience designing and deploying ML solutions on Azure ML.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++ for model development.
• Experience with object detection model training.
• Computer vision experience with OpenCV.
• Experience with synthetic data generation and image augmentation.
• Familiarity with Vision Language Models (VLMs) such as CLIP or similar.
• Experience in dataset preparation, annotation and extraction.
• Experience deploying models to edge devices or servers.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Architecture: Architect end-to-end AI/ML solutions using Azure ML and Generative AI tech.
• Model Development and Deployment: design, train, evaluate, and monitor models in Azure ML.
• AI Integration and Innovation: integrate Generative AI into enterprise apps and data sources.
• Governance and Compliance: ensure ethical AI, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration and Leadership: mentor team members and align with business goals.
• Cross-functional engagement with data engineers, cloud architects, and analysts.
