Job summary

LAVU Tech Solutions SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced AI Data & Semantic Modeling Engineer to design and develop enterprise-grade AI and analytics solutions.

You will build intelligent data access layers and semantic retrieval frameworks to enable natural language data interaction. The role focuses on Data & Semantic Modeling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and modern backend development across enterprise data platforms with REST API exposure and streaming

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software, data engineering or AI solution development.
• Strong experience in Hybrid RAG architectures, semantic search, vector databases and metadata-driven retrieval systems.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with streaming architectures, asynchronous processing, and job orchestration.
• Experience with React, Next.js, or Streamlit.
