Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is hiring a Data Scientist/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy customer-behavior ML models within a SaaS context. You will partner with Marketing/Growth to convert complex problems into scalable data solutions and ensure governance, privacy, and data lineage across datasets.

The role requires strong Python/R and SQL skills, plus hands-on Azure experience for ML workflows and data processing. Hybrid work supported in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science or ML.
• Deep understanding of marketing analytics and CDPs.
• Experience in SaaS/B2B data environments and subscription metrics.
• Proven track record deploying ML models to production.
• Strong Python/R and SQL skills; Azure experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy end-to-end ML models for customer behavior.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Growth to translate problems into data science solutions.
• Govern data governance, model tracking, data lineage, and privacy compliance.
• Build scalable data workflows in the Azure cloud stack.
• Work with data engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to integrate ML into SaaS product.
