Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is partnering with a reputable MNC in the manufacturing and automation industry to hire a senior Data Scientist. You will lead Advanced Analytics & Modeling projects, driving business insights and product strategy with GenAI capabilities.

In this role, you build and optimize cloud data pipelines on Azure or AWS, write production-grade Python, and collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to translate complex problems into AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or analytics.
• Proficiency in Python with Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud suites and OpenAI/LLMs.
• Excellent SQL for large relational datasets.
• Strong communication to translate AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data analytics projects to support decision-making and strategy.
• Design, test, and implement GenAI and LLM-driven workflows.
• Build and manage cloud data infrastructures.
• Write production-ready Python code for data pipelines and AI models.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders.
• Mentor analysts and shape the data strategy.
