Job summary

Shopee Malaysia seeks a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics professional to drive data-driven business iterations. You will query and analyze large datasets, build data pipelines and dashboards to support business needs in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

You will collaborate with business teams, perform statistical analyses (A/B testing, regression, projections), ensure data integrity, and deliver actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong data granularity and data principles.
• Strong interpretation of large and intricate datasets (millions to billions of rows).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen in finance, marketing, business development, operations or related.

Responsibilities

• Work with Data: querying, analyzing large datasets, and creating/fixing data pipelines and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Business Teams: partner with business teams to translate business questions into technical tasks.
• Statistical Analysis: assist in in-depth analysis using methods like A/B testing, regression, benchmarking, projection, and model performance interpretation.
