Job summary

Simplify QA Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting using SSRS and MSSQL. You will work closely with business users and IT teams to deliver accurate, timely reports, optimise data retrieval, and ensure data integrity across reporting and integration processes.

Key tasks include ETL development with SSIS, PowerShell automation, secure file transfers via SFTP, and encryption with PGP/GPG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Experience supporting production reporting environments, banking/financial services a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports.
• Develop and optimise MSSQL database objects: stored procedures, functions, views, triggers.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
• Automate reporting and file processing activities with PowerShell.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support for reporting, database, and integration incidents.
• Ensure security, governance, and data accuracy across reports.
