STRATEQ GROUP (Strateq Sdn Bhd) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines supporting data-driven initiatives. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

You will design data models, implement ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure governance and security. The role includes mentoring, client training, pre-sales involvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ETL/ELT tools experience (Talend, Databricks, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, EAI)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models and pipelines for data warehouse, data lake, and data hub needs
• Ensure data governance and security per policies and regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
• Deliver client training and participate in pre-sales activities
• Document processes, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams and project managers to align solutions with business goals
• Commit to project timelines and deliverables
