Job summary

CFI Financial Group is seeking a senior data engineer in Malaysia to join our data team. You will interpret complex data problems, design data platforms, and build scalable pipelines to support analytics and decision making.

You should have 4+ years in Python and SQL with strong data modeling and database design skills. Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, Dataflow, Prefect, MLflow and ML/DL libraries is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
• Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling and metadata management.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, CS or related field.
• Experience with Databricks, Dataflow or Apache Spark is a plus.
• Knowledge of Prefect, MLflow or similar tools and ML/DL libraries is helpful.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present large amounts of information accurately and effectively.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Dataflow, or Apache Spark is a plus.
• Knowledge of Prefect, MLflow, or similar tools, as well as ML/DL libraries and experience deploying machine learning or deep learning solutions, is an added advantage.
