Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Senior Engineer to oversee advanced preventative maintenance and complex repairs within a Data Center operation. You will provide leadership to junior team members and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

You will manage daily inspections, respond to BMS alarms, and coordinate safety, environmental controls, and regulatory compliance. The role requires hands-on expertise and a proactive, process-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure safe environmental conditions on site.
• React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Document and report to management.
• Guide staff with complex planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Review meter readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities for accuracy.
• Lead by example and coach others in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
