Job summary

Xircle Talent is recruiting on behalf of a global professional services client in Malaysia for a Senior Facilities Operations Manager. The role leads on-site operations, team and vendor management, and oversees site facility management (O&M), finance, HSE, and procurement.

You will drive preventative and reactive maintenance programs, ensure statutory compliance, and manage all plant, mechanical, and electrical systems, while maintaining high standards of safety and service delivery.

Qualifications

• CDCP certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in ME/EE/Operational Eng.
• 6–8 years in engineering or critical environment space.
• 2–3 years operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III data center.
• Hands-on data center maintenance and operations.
• Experience with M&E and building systems (CRAU, chillers, PDU, UPS, switchgear, DX cooling, cabling).
• Experience with Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Strong communication and people skills.
• CAD/AutoCAD knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site Engineering Operations teams and vendors.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence by staff and vendors.
• Act as escalation point for critical failures and reporting.
• Implement maintenance programs and helpdesk management.
• Manage hard and soft services and ensure standards.
• Oversee subcontractor repairs with quality and compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance against budgets.
• Coordinate meetings with contractors to address underperformance.
• Ensure maintenance documentation supports asset management.
• Assist client with statutory compliance and certifications.
