Job summary
Brenntag Business Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Control professional to execute and oversee credit control activities for assigned portfolios, ensuring effective credit risk management and timely resolution of complex issues in line with company policies.
You will analyze financial statements, monitor credit exposure, manage order release and credit limits, escalate risks, and lead discussions with internal stakeholders to drive resolutions and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
- 3–5 years’ experience in Credit Management/ Credit Control.
- Experience with shared services and complex portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Review credit requests and assess risk per policies.
- Analyze financial statements and credit history to support decisions.
- Own performance of portfolio including credit exposure and order releases.
- Monitor credit exposure and proactively address risks.
- Escalate key risks with context, analysis, and actions.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to resolve credit issues.
