Job summary

Brenntag Malaysia is seeking a skilled Credit Control professional to ensure robust credit risk management and timely order releases across assigned portfolios. You will review credit requests, analyze financial statements, and drive improvements in credit controls while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.

Ideal candidates possess 3-5 years in credit management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting is required.
3-5 years of experience in Credit Management / Credit Control, preferably in Shared Services.

Responsibilities

Review credit requests and assess credit risk for new and existing customers in accordance with company policies.
Analyze and assess financial statements, credit history, payment behavior, and other information to support credit decisions.
Own performance and outcomes of assigned portfolio/countries, including credit exposure, order release and related controls.
Monitor customer credit exposure, identify risks, and take action to address credit issues.
Escalate risks with context, analysis and recommended actions.
Prepare and maintain accurate credit control metrics and reporting for management.
