Job summary

Chevron Malaysia Limited (CML) is seeking a Credit Supervisor in Kuala Lumpur to lead a small team and oversee credit and receivables management, ensuring alignment with business targets while mitigating risk. You will review credit analyses, approve within delegated authority, manage collateral instruments such as letters of credit and guarantees, and coordinate with Sales/BU to secure payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or accounting-related field; 5+ years experience preferred.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP system; ability to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise two Credit Analysts; provide coaching and performance reviews.
• Review and approve credit analyses within delegated authority to support credit decisions.
• Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and credit risk indicators for customer creditworthiness.
• Manage collateral instruments (SBLC, bank guarantees, cash bonds, parental guarantees) with Sales/BU involvement.
• Monitor credit exposure; enforce holds and coordinate collections strategies to minimize losses.
• Coordinate with BU, legal, and embedded Finance on actions for uncollectible accounts.
• Review contracts for credit terms; draft/advise on credit language with Legal input.
• Oversee AR activities including reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close coordination.
