Job summary

Brenntag Business Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to deliver efficient credit control services in line with company policies.

You will analyze credit risk, review financials, and release sales orders in accordance with policy to support shipping timelines. Key requirements include minimum 3 years in credit management (2+ years SSC), degree in commerce/finance/accounting, and strong ERP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Credit Management with 2 years in shared services.
• Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with credit risk assessment and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review credit requests and assess new and existing customer credit risk exposure.
• Analyse financial statements and credit history of clients.
• Prepare monthly credit control metrics for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Meet order release deadlines to support shipping cut offs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Assist team members in credit control matters and escalate as needed.
• Participate in process improvement, digitalization and audits.
