Job summary

JAC Recruitment International in Malaysia is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers applying for financing or leasing facilities. The role focuses on analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and credit reports to inform lending decisions.

You will prepare credit papers, present recommendations to management, monitor accounts for risks, and coordinate with sales, finance, legal and operations to ensure compliant credit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis, corporate banking or leasing.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and cash flow analyses.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, management accounts, cash flow, and credit reports.
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Conduct risk analysis and recommend credit limits, loan approvals, or financing structures.
• Prepare credit papers and present recommendations to management or credit committees.
• Monitor customer accounts and identify potential credit risks.
• Review covenant compliance and payment performance.
• Liaise with sales, finance, legal, and operations teams on credit-related matters.
• Maintain accurate credit documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support portfolio reviews and periodic risk assessments.
