Job summary

CIMB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned credit professional to prepare fixed income credit proposals and support submissions to approving authorities, ensuring speedy turnaround and post-approval processing. You will evaluate the credit quality of the corporate loan portfolio, monitor asset health, and escalate issues to the relevant authorities.

The role requires ACCA or equivalent qualifications, solid accounting and financial analysis, and hands-on experience with corporate/Wholesale

Qualifications

ACCA or equivalent qualification or AICB professional credentials.
Bloomberg skills are a plus.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate/investment banking or related fields.
Strong accounting, financial analysis, and credit evaluation skills.
Experience in financial modeling and business writing & presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare fixed income credit proposals and obtain approvals with turnaround time.
Evaluate credit quality of corporate loan portfolio across industries.
Monitor asset quality and escalate deteriorations to relevant authorities.
Ensure applications comply with regulatory frameworks and group policies.
Deliver on ad-hoc assignments.
