Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Associate Director for Corporate Sales within Global Markets. You will manage strategic client portfolios, drive revenue, and expand wallet share by leveraging cross-functional product teams and market insight.

You will build trusted relationships with corporate clients, address their needs with sophisticated FX, derivatives, and payments solutions, and partner with GPS/GTS to deliver end-to-end services. Immediate local work eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree holder with 8–10 years of similar experience.
• Strong understanding of Corporate Sales, its products, clients, systems and processes.
• Good understanding of Capital Markets, FX instruments and interest rate derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and manage from identification to sale and post-trade.
• Service a portfolio of Strategic and/or Focus clients, including Transactional clients as needed.
• Manage and develop relationships with transactional clients, including e-platform servicing.
• Provide day-to-day sales coverage using the full suite of Corporate Sales offerings and support team members.
• Deliver services and solutions meeting client needs and leverage product expertise and Thought Leadership.
• Develop trusted client relationships to drive revenue growth and wallet share.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, GPS, and GTS to service client needs and improve share of wallet.
• Drive efficiency by encouraging self-service e-capability adoption and coordinating with CRS for complex solutions.
• Manage process changes as technology platforms evolve.
• Ensure activities align with agreed principles for Strategic/Focus clients.
• Oversee Global Service Centre outsourced activities in line with SLAs.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and, where appropriate, act as Global Sales Captain.
• Grow deep and broad customer relationships to enhance HSBC franchise.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients in assigned area.
