Job summary

S-RM is seeking a Case Manager in Malaysia to lead complex investigations using OSINT and HUMINT. You will engage clients, deliver robust investigations, and build a network of external contacts while guiding junior analysts.

Experience in corporate investigations or investigative journalism is valued, with exposure to corruption, sanctions or litigation. Hybrid working and flexible hours support work-life balance in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience managing due diligence and investigative projects, incorporating OSINT and HUMINT.
• Background in corporate investigations OR investigative journalism with exposure to corruption, bribery, sanctions or commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of corruption risks, the FCPA and relevant financial regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases, including reviewing findings and directing source enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and propose creative solutions based on open-source research and intelligence.
• Deliver quality investigative findings and robust reporting to clients.
• Nurture a network of external contacts and guide analysts to ensure incisive outputs.
• Progress in a management role, overseeing matters and overseeing teams to meet client needs.
