Job summary

EY Malaysia seeks an experienced leader to deliver a next-generation core system platform implementation across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance segments. This role drives large-scale IT transformation, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery to high standards.

You will manage project portfolios, engage stakeholders, and oversee governance, change, and benefits realization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in project management with 3+ years leading large-scale transformation projects in diverse systems including banking, financial services, procurement.
Experience delivering core system replacements or modernisation initiatives in financial services.
Knowledge of banking operations, regulatory reporting (e.g., CCRIS, MFRS, PIDM).

Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Establish governance frameworks including steering committees, RAID logs, and quality gates.
Lead day-to-day program execution across cross-functional workstreams (business, technology, data migration, testing, change management).
Monitor performance across time, cost, scope, and quality; manage risks, issues, dependencies.
