Job summary

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) in Malaysia is seeking a talented software engineer to join the pioneer team delivering new services. You will own end-to-end software development and support for work transitioned from Group, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.

You will collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and provide technical solutions, with focus on DevOps, automation on AS400, Silverlake and BWC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years’ experience in software development, preferably in core banking.
• Functional and system knowledge on Bank wide Customer Information (BWCIF) applications.
• Knowledge of Silverlake's banking software suite on BWCIF module.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group, including analysis, design, development, testing and support.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and provide technical solutions; cover DevOps and deployment automation for AS400, Silverlake and BWC.
• Ensure quality delivery per bank-defined methodology and tools; plan and manage transitioned deliverables with the Group domain team.
• Create technical documents for the solutions and develop system documentation to capture key design decisions.
• Perform design and development of applications according to change requests and project requirements.
