Job summary

Stratus Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechatronics engineer to drive PLC/SPLC programming for AMHS projects. You will commission on-site installations and guide service teams, while designing electrical schematics and BOMs using DraftSight.

Proficiency in MPLAB and STM32Cube IDE, plus motion control programming for multi-axis robotics, is required. Ideally you bring 5+ years of related experience, familiarity with CE/UL/SEMI certifications, and knowledge of electrical

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Familiar with basic SQL query.
• Knowledge of CE/ UL/ SEMI certification process for machine directive.
• Knowledge of electrical devices and components.
• Robotics knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC/SPLC programming based on project requirements.
• On-site project commissioning. Provide guidance for service and installation teams.
• Electrical schematic design using DraftSight and generate BOM.
• Firmware programming in MPLAB, STM32Cube IDE.
• Motion controller programming in structured text to run multi-axis robotic system.
• Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting; design solutions.

Perform PLC/ SPLC programming based on project requirement.

On-site project commissioning. Provide guidance and advise for service and installation teams.

Electrical schematic diagram design using DraftSight and generate BOM.

Firmware programming in MPLAB, STM32Cube IDE.

Motion controller programming in structured text to run multiaxis robotic system.

Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.

Prepare documents for system CE/ UL/ SEMI certification process.
