Job summary

Sky-Tag Robotics Sdn Bhd in Penang (Batu Kawan) is seeking a PLC Programmer to design, develop and implement control system software for automation equipment.

You will test and debug machine software, prepare BOM and PR for projects, and collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to meet delivery timelines. Travel locally and overseas for buy-off and support, plus document software with version control.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of working experience in PLC automation.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages.
• Familiarity with PLC hardware and control panel design (added advantage).
• Experience with TwinCAT or CODESYS platforms (added advantage).
• Required language(s): Malay, English

Develop, test, and debug machine software to ensure stable and efficient machine operation.

Prepare BOM, PR for project implementation

Work closely with electrical and mechanical design teams to ensure machine delivery are completed on time for optimal performance

Provide software-related technical support to internal teams (production, service) and external customers.

Travelling (local and oversea) to set-up & support buy-off activity

Create and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and version control records.
