Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Specialist, Contract Management Services (CMS) to provide expert support to Contract Managers/Owners across categories. The role emphasizes risk-based contract lifecycle oversight, data quality, and continuous improvement through AI-enabled tooling.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with SCM stakeholders, legal, compliance, and finance to ensure obligations are met and processes are optimized for efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years in procurement and/or contract management, and/or supplier management.
• Knowledge of contract law, procurement and supplier management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support CMS Manager in accelerating CMS services across the Bank and categories.
• Serve as SME for assigned CMS category and primary contact for Contract Managers/Owners.
• Drive continuous improvement with stakeholders on digital transformation and enablement.
• Contribute to ideation and development of technology advancements (AI, automation) to strengthen CMS.
• Build relationships with Contract Managers/Owners and SCM stakeholders.
• Assist in end-to-end CMS framework and contract lifecycle from risk assessments to expiry.
• Maintain data quality and governance for CMS processes and contracts.
• Act as escalation point for CMS inquiries and issues.
• Input design requirements for CMS platform and tools strategy.
• Promote adoption of AI and automation to demonstrate efficiencies.
