Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia in Penang invites an experienced CI professional to support the Plant Continuous Improvement Manager in planning and executing TEOA initiatives to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals.

You will drive continuous improvement, train Value Stream teams, and implement digital factory projects to promote operational excellence across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute TEBIT projects, including digital value creation initiatives, via value streams.
• Track and deliver measurable cost savings with a KPI to achieve 30% contribution to TEBIT cost-saving goals.
• Lead and facilitate at least 5 Kaizen events annually.
• Drive financial savings through project implementation with a KPI to contribute 20% to cost-saving initiatives.
• Deliver training on Continuous Improvement tools, Kaizen, and digital factory processes to VS teams.
• Promote a strong operational excellence culture with a KPI to achieve 20% training closure rate.
• Standardize Continuous Improvement processes through KAIZEN projects and CIP system deployment.
• Develop and release standard work documentation with a KPI to contribute 20% to standardization goals.
• Coordinate the deployment of digital factory tools and ensure successful project completion with a KPI to achieve 20% closure rate for digital factory initiatives

Support the Plant Continuous Improvement Manager in planning and executing TEOA (TE Operational Excellence) initiatives to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals. Drive continuous improvement, train Value Stream (VS) teams, and implement digital factory projects to promote operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute TEBIT (Total Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) projects, including digital value creation initiatives, via value streams
• Track and deliver measurable cost savings with a KPI to achieve 30% contribution to TEBIT cost-saving goals
• Lead and facilitate at least 5 Kaizen events annually
• Drive financial savings through project implementation with a KPI to contribute 20% to cost-saving initiatives
• Deliver training on Continuous Improvement tools, Kaizen, and digital factory processes to VS teams

Requirements

• Prior experience minimum 5 years in Lean, Kaizen, or operational excellence is a plus but not mandatory
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and digital factory tools
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
• Results-oriented with a focus on measurable outcomes
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic environments
