Job summary

Allianz Services leads the establishment of a Kuala Lumpur-based strategic hub for Allianz Consulting, inviting experienced consultants to shape the Malaysian practice with APAC support. As a Senior Consultant, you will drive transformative initiatives, mentor junior consultants, and build client relationships with C-suite stakeholders across the insurance sector.

You will partner with senior leaders to deliver high-impact programs, develop subject-matter expertise, and contribute to the growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
• 6–8 years of experience, preferably in Tier 1/2 management consulting or advisory
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory or IT delivery is a plus
• Fluent English, second language is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills

Job Role

Building on our strong foundation in Singapore and India, Allianz Consulting is establishing a new strategic hub in Kuala Lumpur. This expansion creates an exceptional opportunity for experienced consultants to shape our Malaysian practice from the ground up, while leveraging our established APAC network. As a member of this founding team in Malaysia, you will partner directly with C-suite leaders to drive transformative initiatives across one of the world's most dynamic insurance markets. As a Senior Consultant, you will spearhead strategic and transformation initiatives while developing your expertise in key practice areas. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior consultants, build client relationships, and play an instrumental role in shaping our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and programs through rigorous analysis, structured problem-solving, and implementation of high-impact solutions for our operating entities
• Build and nurture client relationships to drive successful outcomes and future growth opportunities
• Develop deep expertise and establish yourself as a subject matter expert in key strategic areas
• Support business development through strategic pitches and proposal development

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 6-8 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with prior Tier 1/ Tier 2 management consulting or advisory experience. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory or IT delivery is a plus.
• Exposure to the financial services/ insurance industry is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. A second language would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills – able to work well with both junior team members and senior organizational leaders.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving proficiency, including methodological and conceptualization skills, moderation and presentation.
• Passionate and self-driven with a knack for creativity and innovative thinking .
• International working experience or ability to navigate different working cultures .
