Job summary

GESTOWN CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Bintulu Division in Sarawak. This full-time role oversees projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and top-quality outcomes.

Requirements include 10+ years in construction PM, strong leadership and stakeholder management, knowledge of local Sarawak regulations, and English proficiency (Malay preferred). We offer development opportunities and a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction project management or related field.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects from planning to handover.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in project planning and organizational skills and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and laborers.
• Monitor progress and adjust to maintain schedule and budget.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and QA standards across all phases.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for quality and compliance.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and authorities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and costs.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Lead problem-solving to maintain momentum.
