Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a highly committed civil/structural engineering professional to oversee site construction progress, resolve on-site issues, and drive timely project completion. Strong communication with the project team and stakeholders is essential.

The role requires collaboration across all parties, meticulous documentation, and a proven track record in high-rise projects. Proficiency in project tools and languages is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of working experience for high-rise construction.
• Proficient with Gantt Chart/CPM/Microsoft Project/AutoCAD.
• English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Role requires frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, control and monitor construction work progress at site.
• Resolving technical or construction issues at site.
• Drive project completion as schedule, safely and efficiently.
• Must have exceptional communication skill. Communicate project updates, milestones, and issues to the project management team and other stakeholders.
• Must be able to collaborate with all parties involved in the project.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
