Job summary

Currie & Brown in Malaysia seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to lead all project logistics for major construction programs. You will plan, coordinate, and manage movement, storage, and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to meet project requirements safely and on schedule.

You will work with procurement, construction, engineering, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely arrival of items, manage storage yards and laydown areas, and implement strategies to optimize costs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of logistics management experience in construction or data centre projects.
• Experience coordinating movement of large-scale construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project logistics strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage transportation of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites.
• Ensure deliveries align with project schedules and priorities.
• Manage on-site and off-site storage facilities and laydown areas.
• Coordinate receiving, inventory management, storage, preservation, and distribution.
• Organize site logistics including access routes, traffic management plans, crane utilization, laydown areas, and material handling.
