Job summary

Micron Technology Malaysia is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Engineer to provide exceptional EHS leadership and field oversight for major construction, expansion, facility modification, equipment installation, and tool-hook-up activities. This role supports the full project lifecycle from development through close-out, ensuring flawless execution.

You will manage Micron EHS programs at the construction site, conduct audits, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in construction EHS, industrial projects, semiconductor facilities, infrastructure, greenfield, or brownfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership and field supervision for construction and tool-hook-up activities.
• Support EHS planning, risk assessments, contractor mobilization, and site readiness.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage.
• Review EHS plans, permit-to-work, emergency response, and contractor approvals.
• Ensure adherence to Micron EHS Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with authorities (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, CIDB) on HSE issues.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and awareness programs.
