Job summary

Micron Technology Malaysia is seeking a Senior EHS Engineer to lead field EHS for CSA construction, expansion, facility modification, equipment installation, and tool-hook-up activities. You will oversee the project lifecycle from development through close-out, ensuring compliance and safe execution across sites.

You will coordinate with authorities, conduct audits, manage risk assessments, and implement Micron EHS standards to continuously improve safety across major construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor1s degree in safety/health or related field.
• Minimum five years of construction EHS experience in large projects.
• Experience supporting major construction, expansion, or installations.
• DOSH safety officer accreditation is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and audit practices.
• Familiarity with HIRARC, JHA, permit-to-work and emergency response.
• Ability to review EHS plans and contractor qualifications.
• Effective contractor-management and field-leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership and field supervision for construction activities.
• Coordinate EHS planning, risk assessments, and contractor mobilization.
• Lead Build for Safety reviews to minimize risks in projects.
• Review EHS plans, proficiency records, and emergency controls.
• Ensure adherence to Micron EHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and drive corrective actions.
• Interact with authorities on HSE issues and improvements.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and safety communications.
