Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Compliance Technology domain. You will contribute to the full SDLC for FMF-related applications, lead design, and mentor junior developers while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a senior or lead capacity in software development.
• Experience in banking or financial services, esp. compliance or payments.
• Strong SDLC understanding and ability to perform impact analysis.
• Experience implementing and managing vendor products in enterprise environments.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux shell scripting and SQL.
• Hands-on Java development for defects and enhancements.
• Familiarity with payment technologies and AML systems.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD tools are a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of FMF-related applications.
• Conduct impact analysis and data mapping during design.
• Collaborate with analysts to finalize technical requirements.
• Perform defect analysis and resolution.
• Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to support automation.
• Execute SQL queries and updates to support logic and reporting.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with testing, infra, and compliance teams for deployments.
• Provide updates to project managers and escalate risks/issues with solutions.
• Lead technical implementation of vendor products.
• Perform gap analysis between internal needs and vendor capabilities.
• Liaise with vendors on product limitations and integration.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document technical specs, deployment procedures, and support guides.
