Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned IT project delivery professional to lead end-to-end software delivery for Compliance Technology applications. You will oversee analysis, design, development, testing and support while upholding Bank methodologies.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, at least 6 years of IT project delivery experience, strong SQL/Oracle and Hadoop knowledge, and proven ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain.
• Proven working experience in IT project delivery in large organizations.
• Ability to multitask effectively and handle large amounts of data.
• Proficient knowledge in SQL/Oracle and/or Compliance related capabilities.
• Good knowledge in Hadoop ecosystem & technologies.
• Experience in actual systems development work, with coding, specifications, development and testing.
• Familiar with SDLC and working with tools - JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, Visio.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software development and support for Compliance Technology domain applications, including analysis, design, development, testing and support.
• As team lead, ensure quality delivery in line with Bank-defined methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with Compliance Technology leads to plan and manage deliverables.
• Plan technical deliverables and system enhancements within budget and schedule of MLS (Machine Learning Suite).
• Coordinate across application teams to manage technical dependencies and risks.
• Provide updates to Project Manager/Program Manager on delivery status.
• Work with Analysts and SMEs to finalize functional/technical requirements and estimates.
• Coordinate with Development Manager to support team in building enhancements and testing efforts.
