Job summary

PeopleLAKE in Malaysia is seeking a Smart COBOL Senior Developer for a 1-year contract renewable, based in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead development, maintenance, and production support for the Policy Asia system.

The role requires at least 6 years of hands-on Smart COBOL and SQL/DB2 experience, with strong knowledge of General Insurance applications and system data flows. You will work within the SDLC to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Smart COBOL development with the Policy Asia system.
• Strong Smart COBOL and SQL/DB2 development experience.
• Experience with General Insurance applications and GI processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide development, maintenance, and production support for the Policy Asia system.
• Analyse business requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Support and maintain General Insurance products and related functionalities.
