Job summary

Sentronics Precision Industry (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru seeks a skilled CNC programmer/engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain programs for milling, turning, and multi‑axis machining centers.

You will define cutting parameters, create SOPs and work instructions, lead trial runs and FAI, provide DFM feedback, support prototype machining, and drive continual improvements in cycle time, quality, and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC programming for milling, turning and multi‑axis machines.
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection methods.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for milling, turning and multi‑axis machines.
• Define cutting parameters for efficiency and surface quality.
• Create SOPs, process flow charts, and work instructions.
• Lead new product trial runs and first article inspection (FAI).
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to optimize designs for CNC machining.
• Perform prototype machining and validate processes for mass production.
• Provide on-site technical support to production teams and resolve issues.
• Diagnose machining errors and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor cycle time, yield, and uptime to drive improvements.
• Maintain records of programs, tooling data, and engineering changes.
• Train CNC operators and technicians on processes, programming, and safety.
